About a half hour before officiating at a very large funeral service, I bent over and my pants developed a long tear (not in the seam) which would not be fully covered by my jacket. There was no time to replace the pants, so they must be repaired. My wife & I frantically searched for some black tape to fix the tear before the service began. Fortunately, the maintenance department had some, and no one ever knew the difference, except for me, my wife, and one other person. (Turns out the pants were defective material... I threw them away after the service.) |
