CrossRoads is the career transitions ministry of Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church. We provide professional assistance to people who are between jobs as they make the transition between careers.

What is CrossRoads?
CrossRoads is the career transitions ministry of Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church, assisting people who are between jobs and are in need of professional assistance as they make the transition between careers.

What does CrossRoads offer?
Eastern Hills is pleased to work with a local career consulting firm who is dedicated to providing assistance on resume writing, self-esteem development, job interview skills and job search training. Career assessment tools will be used to profile work style, management style, job preferences, and problem solving methods. Testing will also provide information which facilitates understanding of one's characteristics and interests. The results are also used to assist participants in understanding the interaction between their individual style and the job search process.

Who is CrossRoads for?
CrossRoads is designed to assist those re-entering the workforce after a hiatus, those who are between careers, or those who are entering the career workforce for the first time.

How does CrossRoads work?
Each participant agrees to attend a one-day workshop. This workshop will involve a small group (usually between 5 and 10 participants). In addition to the group sessions, each person will also receive personal counseling.

How much does it cost?
Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church is a non-profit ministry desiring to meet needs as the Lord enables. God has been good to us, and we desire to bless others with that same goodness. Therefore, the total cost for the workshop is a drastically reduced $29, which covers the cost of the training manual each participant receives at the first session.

How do I sign up?
You may use the registration form in the CrossRoads brochure to sign up for the next workshop. Please send the form to the church address. We will then forward your information to the career consulting firm and they will follow up with you with details for the next workshop including how to make your payment.

Why is Eastern Hills Church doing this?
Our Church's Mission Statement challenges us to assist people as they are being transformed by God's grace. This ministry enables us to fulfill that challenge in a very tangible way. We are grateful to the Career Transition professionals who have donated their time and expertise to allow Eastern Hills the honor of serving God's people.
